About us

Excellence is when something small becomes something big

In the untouched emptiness of a blank page, infinite worlds lie dormant, waiting to be awakened by the written word. At our publishing house, we organize thoughts and dreams, transforming pages into landscapes for wondrous stories and creating places where time seems to stand still.

Like a delicate seed blossoming into a magnificent flower, our dreams unfold into masterpieces that touch hearts and inspire minds.

Every sentence becomes a spark, every thought a new star in the universe of possibilities. We transform letters into words, words into sentences, and sentences into stories—stories of vision, of victorious battles, and unforgettable memories.

At Bestseller Office, we believe that excellence begins with the smallest of seeds, from which great things can grow. The Gospel of John says: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. All things were created through the Word; nothing was created without the Word. In Him was life, and that life was the light of all men." This message is central to everything we do and to who we are at Bestseller Office.

  • Christian Meyer - Chief Editor

Christian Meyer is 69 years old, born in New Jersey, USA, in 1954. He held dual citizenship for many years but is now a Swiss citizen, with Basel as his home canton and the city he loves most. Christian is married to an Englishwoman, has five grown children, and is the proud grandfather of six granddaughters.

For much of his life, Christian was a second-hand book dealer, head of a church community and youth center, before transitioning into journalism. He later led the editorial department at Fontis publishing house in Basel for 34 years, focusing on program design, author support, and the meticulous content production of the "Hoffnung für Alle" Bibles.

Christian has a deep love for family life, friendships, football, sports in general, and has a special fondness for Ireland, Venice, Burgundy, Strasbourg, Colmar, England, music (especially slow blues and traditional Irish folk), Scottish bagpipes and Irish harp music, as well as films, theater, concerts, culture, Art Deco, and good wine. His favorite music era is "Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac" from 1966 to 1969, with the songs "Albatross" and "Love That Burns" serving as the soundtracks and tempo of his life. And, of course, he has a lifelong passion for books.

Above all, Christian emphasizes that without the love of our Father in heaven and His personal revelation in Jesus Christ, he would still be a restless seeker of love, never having found solid ground beneath his feet and soul. His identity is fundamentally defined by his Christian faith, and he wouldn’t want it any other way.
